Long trip!

Well David went to pick up the Honda in Dallas yesterday. He got a rental and took one of his friends from his class with him. Navy only let's you drive 8 hours a day and to and back is 10 unless you count the extra two hours of traffic they got stuck in. He successfully walked in the door at 1000 last night with my car! Poor Honda with some new scratches, a few paint issues from the hot sun!! That car has made some miles! And the majority of it not even drive time! Thanks to our wonderful friends Nick and Brandie (lifesavers) our Honda has made the trip home from Hawaii! 30 days total including a boat trip and a road trip on a vehicle carrier! Now to change the California Title and the Hawaii plates!! It seems we only have a few more pieces in the puzzle before we get settled! Like closing on the house (keeps getting extended!) and successfully making the trip to Colorado and getting moved in!

David has joined a softball team and so they have nightly practices. The kids go play in the dirt with my friend Katy's children. She is also in TLF with us and her husbands at the same school as David. She has a girl and a boy so the children get along wonderfully. It's a blessing! Jadyn loved to get dressed in her daddy's softball gear and has named him PoohBear! It's adorable!!
